Hello. This is my story.

Gen is Mummy to Siya, our ‘brand ambassador’!  Gen is a Life Coach and ECCE trained.  She is a start up guru.

Olwen and Gen met in India in August 2018.  Olwen had started Playing Talking Learning in January 2018 in the UK and Zimbabwe.  In September 2018, Gen and Olwen co-founded Playing Talking Learning India.  We now run Playing Talking Learning as co-founders with Gen focusing on our work in India, and Olwen in the UK and Zimbabwe.

We share a strong, child-centred philosophy of child development and are therefore intensely interested in and focused on the education of those who care for, work with and love children.  We are particularly motivated by the power of play – for play’s sake and, of course, for its profound impact on the development of children – and the acquisition and development of language and communication.  Without well-developed speech, language and communication skills, children’s ability to learn and access the curriculum is compromised.
